Lookabout Swimwear was designed as an expression of love for Northern Michigan. The suits will carry you from sunny days on the lake to nights around the bonfire with friends – and everywhere in between. The designs bear imagery of Great Lakes plants and wildlife, and are borne of midwestern nostalgia.

Style and purpose
Every piece in our beach ready collection is sustainably hand made in Brazil with Soul Eco® biodegradable, PETA certified vegan materials and the remnants of the custom printed Lycra used to make the suits are donated to become dog bed filler.
Lookabout Swimwear is made for all bodies of water and we do not discriminate based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or age.

About the Artist
Growing up in Northern Michigan, summers were spent in a swimsuit on the water – enjoying the outdoors then coming inside to draw my memory of it. As a designer and creative strategist, my lifelong obsession with all things swimwear led me on the path to launch a brand of my own.
Lookabout is my passion project and a labor of love that I pour my heart into. Every print I design is meant to capture the magic of this place and is inspired by my connection to it.

Lookabout Swimwear will donate 1% of revenue annually to the Women’s Resource Center, a full-service domestic and sexual violence agency whose mission is to protect, shelter and empower survivors in the Grand Traverse area.
